WHO IS THIS GUY?: Clarence is a non-corporeal, viral entity that is capable of hijacking a host's nervous system and, with time, smothering their consciousness down into a speck. He’s learning to operate a human body in real-time (badly) and covers his existential terror with manic humor and way too much talking.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS
VISUAL: A small, slight man built for academics. He moves his body like it's being run by a particularly inept committee: his limbs move this way and that way, his facial expressions twitch, and his eyes focus on all the wrong things. He looks like he never sleeps or eats. That's not inaccurate.
AURAL: Awful. A disaster. He pitches his voice so low that it rasps and rattles. His accent is inconsistent, but always aggressively American (with an emphasis on aggressive).
OLFACTORY: Not pleasant. He showers only when he starts to "feel itchy." When he cleans his clothes, he throws them in the sink with enough dish soap to clean a whole flock of ducklings, then leaves it in there for a week.
DEMEANOUR: Manic. On the edge. Even when he's upset, he looks like he's maybe thirty seconds away from laughing.
